School Trips

We consider out of the classroom learning experiences vital for our children. We have our own community garden and forest school. As well as using these areas, we also go on regular day trips. These trips help us to fulfil part of our vision as they enhance our children’s life experiences.

Day trips to museums, the theatre, historic places in London and more local trips to the library and Greenwich Park, take place for each theme the children learn about. We endeavour to keep any costs to a minimum. However we do ask for a voluntary contribution from parents for some trips. We are sympathetic to cases where families are unable to meet the contribution, and children will not be excluded. If, however, too few parents agree to contribute towards a particular visit, it may be cancelled.

Residential Trips

Children in year 4 and 6 have the opportunity to participate in a week long adventure, by going on a residential school journey. The children take part in various indoor and outdoor activities in a rural location. This year, our year 4s and year 6s will both travel to a centre in Northampton, which is run by Rock UK, a Christian organisation. We believe these wonderful experiences enable our children to become more independent and grow in confidence while also having lots of fun. Our staff enjoy watching the children challenge themselves, develop resilience and improve their social skills whilst also creating unforgettable memories. Parents will be charged for the board and accommodation on these trips. There is a grant available for low income families. Please see the School Administration Officer or a member of the Senior Leadership Team and you request will be treated in complete confidence.
