Koinonia Federation offers a range of state-of-the-art facilities for hire at its Woolwich Campus. Available spaces include a modern hall equipped with a professional sound and lighting system, learning rooms with interactive whiteboards, a versatile multi-use games area (MUGA) and a rooftop terrace providing beautiful views across the local area.

Facilities are available to hire Monday to Friday between 17:00 and 22:00, and Saturday and Sunday between 09:00 and 17:00 during term time, when not required for school use. During holiday periods, hire is available Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 22:00 and at weekends from 09:00 to 17:00, subject to availability. The school will make every effort to accommodate booking requests whenever possible.

Roof Garden / Outdoor Terrace (Rooftop / Outdoor Space)

An outdoor rooftop terrace or garden area providing open-air space and views, offering a relaxed environment suitable for lighter, community or leisure-oriented events.

Good for:

  • Outdoor community events, social gatherings, or informal meet-ups
  • Outdoor workshops or classes such as art, yoga, mindfulness, gardening
  • Parent–child meet-ups, family-friendly small events or informal group sessions
  • Relaxed outdoor breaks or refreshment areas in conjunction with indoor events
  • Small outdoor group activities or community-engagement sessions

Hall with Sound & Lighting System

The hall is a spacious, versatile indoor area equipped with a professional-quality sound and lighting system, suitable for large gatherings, performances, and events. Its flexible layout and technical facilities make it appropriate for activities requiring staging, audio/visual presentations, or amplified sound.

Good for:

  • Theatre productions, drama performances or rehearsals
  • Dance classes, recitals or showcases
  • School-style productions, concerts or music events
  • Community events or large group meetings
  • Conferences, seminars, lectures or presentations
  • Indoor social events (subject to the Federation’s hire policy)
  • Evening workshops requiring sound/light support

Hall

The Hall is a large, bright and versatile indoor space with a polished wooden floor, high ceiling and ample natural light. Its open layout provides a flexible environment suitable for a wide range of activities, from structured sessions to larger group gatherings. The built-in lighting rig and sound points enhance the hall’s suitability for performance-based events, while the clean, uncluttered design supports easy reconfiguration for different types of use. The space is well ventilated and designed to comfortably accommodate medium to large groups.

  • Assemblies, meetings and community gatherings
  • Performances, rehearsals, dance classes or drama workshops
  • Fitness sessions, yoga, pilates or group exercise activities
  • Training events, workshops or educational presentations

Oasis

The Oasis is a flexible, medium-sized indoor room designed to accommodate small to mid-sized groups in a comfortable and practical setting. The space features a combination of tables, folding chairs, computer workstations and a large interactive display screen, making it suitable for activities that require both seating and access to digital resources. Its layout supports collaborative work, small-group teaching and informal meetings, while still providing enough open space for adaptable use.

The room’s simple, uncluttered design allows hirers to configure the space to meet a variety of needs, from structured classroom activities to discussion-based sessions.

Studio

The Studio is a bright, flexible teaching and activity space equipped with an interactive whiteboard and ceiling-mounted projector. Large windows provide excellent natural light, creating an open and welcoming atmosphere suitable for both educational and creative sessions. The room’s clear floor space and movable tables and chairs allow it to be configured for a wide range of activities, from classroom-based learning to practical workshops. Its clean, modern layout makes it an ideal multi-purpose learning environment.

MUGA Pitch (Multi-Use Games Area)

The MUGA Pitch is a spacious, all-weather outdoor playing surface designed to accommodate a wide range of sports and physical activities. The marked courts and durable surface provide flexibility for both recreational use and structured sporting sessions. With basketball hoops, perimeter fencing and ample playing space, the MUGA is suitable for both youth and adult groups seeking a reliable, low-maintenance outdoor facility. Its open layout also allows for multi-sport rotation, training drills and team practice.

Good for:

  • Football, basketball, netball, tennis and other team-based sports
  • After-school clubs, youth sport programmes or weekend community sessions
  • Fitness boot camps, outdoor exercise classes and circuit training
  • Holiday sports camps and multi-sports activities

If you would like to enquire about hiring space at any of our campuses, please begin by reviewing the Facilities for Hire Information document available on this page. Once you have identified a space of interest, please contact the Federation’s Hire Coordinator at premiseshire@koinoniafederation.com, providing the following information:

  • Campus
  • Space of interest (for example: Secondary Sports Hall)
  • Preferred days and times - Please note: alternative options may be suggested if your requested slot is unavailable.
  • Nature of the hire, including

                -Type of activity (for example: football)

                -Whether the group is adults, children or mixed

                -Approximate number of attendees

                -Any other relevant information (e.g. equipment requirements, supervision details,                                     safeguarding considerations)

Duration of the hire (for example: one week, three months, rolling contract, etc.)
