On 25th June, St Mary Magdalene C of E School was proudly featured on ITV News as part of a special report highlighting the vital work of Tender, a charity that educates young people on how to recognise and respond to controlling behaviours in relationships. The news segment showcased a recent PSHE session delivered at our school, focusing on promoting healthy, respectful relationships.

The featured session involved a mixed group of 21 Year 10 students, who took part in discussions and activities exploring the signs of unhealthy relationships and how to respond safely and supportively.

We are incredibly proud of the students who took part. Their thoughtful contributions and the mature, respectful way in which they represented the school were a true reflection of our core Christian values of Family, Faith, and Fellowship.

This important work is just one example of how St Mary Magdalene C of E School continues to address the crucial issues that affect the lives of young people. As a school community, we are committed to being part of the solution—ensuring our students are equipped not only with knowledge, but with the confidence and compassion to make a positive change in the world around them.
