Our Christian Vision is set out as a diagram. It includes our values of Family, Faith and Fellowship. An explanation of these can be found on Our Christian Values page.

Through our Vision we have been motivated to regularly review our curriculum, our policies and the way we communicate with our students, communities and our partners (other organisations and groups we work with).

In the Koinonia Federation we strive for excellence and high standards through:

A Koinonia student will go out into the world happy, courageous, resilient, motivated with a lifelong love of learning, fully equipped to make a positive contribution to society.

We regularly use the words of our Christian Vision to form the worship we prepare each year – words like love, confidence, joy, compassion, diversity, care and respect. We also use the statement below the diagram to evaluate our impact on students and the outcomes they achieve.

As a community we give thanks for the successes our students and staff have achieved and we share some of these within our Faith, Family, Fellowship newsletters that can be found here.

Our Christian Motto

“Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you.”

Luke 6:31

As part of our Christian Vision we use this passage from scripture to inspire our words and actions towards each other.

It informs our behaviour and our behaviour policy but also connects us and helps us audit our attitudes. More than just a motivator not to do anything bad to others, we use this motto to encourage kindness, generosity and patience among other things between our staff, students and families.
