This term, the students in year 5 had the opportunity to take part in a wonderful workshop with the Taru company, creating a carnival for the Woolwich High Street. It was a pleasure for them to play a variety of handmade instruments that are typically heard in the southern part of America. Their samba music was paired with an amazing choreography and parade, spreading joy and samba music throughout Woolwich.
